FTP Services and ~username websites
FTP Services
With the availability and ease of file sharing via numerous services such as Dropbox, Google drive, One Drive, we will no longer be offering FTP services for residential customers effective Nov. 10th.
~username Websites
Non-business websites accessed via calweb.com/~username will be discontinued Nov 15th. Existing (and active) ~username websites will be still be available on a limited basis, depending on content. We are migrating those websites to vanity sub-domain names of username.calweb.net. The existing method will automatically forward to this new format as we migrate them. If you wish to continue to have a personal website, you will need to register a domain and host it under our new personal website hosting plan. This plan is $5 per month and requires that you have other services with CalWeb.
