Martha Patriarca contributed the following information from the Daily Standard, Celina, Ohio, paper dated November 11, 1928:

Miss Maude M. Moore, the only surviving member of the draft board has kept a complete record of the names of the Mercer County men who were called to service during the late war and at this time, Armistice Day when we pause to pay homage to our living and dead heroes, the Standard publishes a complete list.

The names of the 58 Mercer County boys whose deaths occurred while in service, engraved on a large bronze tablet, occupies the place of honor in the American Legion room in the court house. The honor roll includes [in alphabetical order]:
