Would like to exchange information with anyone researching surname WERT in Mercer County, OH; looking for descendants of a Joseph WERT b. 1839 and Orpha LEPPO b. 1846...They had six known children: Goerge Ernest, Anna B., Della, Zanta, Laura Mae, and James Warren WERT.

I am looking for information on John Henry GRANT, son of Edward Morgan GRANT and Laura Jane BYRLEY, who was born in Celina September 27,1895. Any information on his parents and their families is appreciated. Laura Jane BYRLEY, daughter of Rafe Robert BYRLEY and Margaret RHODES, died in March 1897 when her son was about two years old. Edward M. and Laura were supposedly married July 13, 1895 in Celina.

James Earl SPRINGER b. 1888;moved to Huron Co, OH c1919/20;d. 5 Mar 1951; Clarksfield, Huron, OH. His obit states that his living siblings are: sisters, Mrs. Inez POTTS, St. Mary's, OH, Mrs. Edith HINES, Findlay, OH bro. Mr. Lon Spencer SPRINGER, St. Mary's, OH m. Leanna WOLFE d/o Frederick J. and Mary Ellen SNIDER WOLFE (both natives of Mercer Co.) b. 20 Oct 1892 Mercer Co., OH; d. 14 Nov 1976 Ashland, Ashland, OH.

Frederick J. and Mary Ellen SNIDER WOLFE had the following children:
1)Robert O. b. 18 Jun 1907 in Neptune, Mercer, OH; d. 23 Apr 1994 in New London, Huron,OH;m. Pearl CLAYPOOL 10 Oct 1931.

3)Mamie WOLFE TESTER of Clarksfield, OH

*Above names from Ellen's obituary. Robert's obituary differs somewhat. His states he was preceded in death by: sisters-Mamie TESTER and Leanne SPRINGER bros- Daniel, Clarence, Joseph, Charles, Calvin, Albert WOLFE

Looking for information on any of the following families from Mercer County. Timothy CREEDEN married Mary Ann MATSON in 1868 and they had at least 10 children: James, Patrick, Mary Elizabeth, Daniel, Dennis, Edward, Charles, Julia, Idabel, and Joshua.

Charles married Anna NIEHAUS and their son Robert married Anna Lee PULSKAMP (1910-1934). Anna Lee had a twin sister, Emma Lee and her father's name was George PULSKAMP. Thanks!
