Looking for possible residence in Mercer County of H. Clemens SCHWEINEFUSS (1820-1905) during period 1842 and 1854. He was nephew of John Henry Antone SCHWEINEFUSS (1800-1863) who lived in Marion Township with wife Agnes (ROTINGHAUS) and daughters Elizabeth (HAUSFELD), Mary (HAUSFELD), and Catherine (WOBLER). Clemens may have boarded with his uncle Antone's family.

My DRAKEs and ALLENs moved from Ontario, Canada, to Union and Dublin townships in Mercer County, OH about 1856-1857. My gggrandparents were Joseph B. and Phebe (ALLEN) DRAKE.

My gggrandfather, Charles YOUNGBLUTT arrived in Pennsylvania from Germany in the 1830s. He married Lydia DARING. They lived in Dayton, OH for a time, and then moved to Mercer/Van Wert counties. Their children, Jacob YOUNGBLUTT and Elizabeth YOUNGBLUTT (m. Enos DRAKE) lived in Union Township.

Both sides of my family come from the Mercer/Auglaize areas. Surnames include: PLASSENTHAL/PLASSENDAL; SEITZ, RANLY; GRUNKEMEYER; RINDLER/RINDERLE; HEINE; GUGGENBILLER; DILLHOFF; HEINRICHS; STEINKE and WISS. Most of the families settled near Maria Stein and Cranberry Prairie. I have been researching these families for over 20 years and would be willing to exchange info with others interested in same lines.

Seek info August ZEHNER and Maria FELTZ, both born in Alsace, France, immigrated to US then Ohio, and IL. Children were born in Alsace and in Ohio, any help on locating siblings appreciated.
