Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) archive
- This connection provides on-line access to almost as many FAR's.
They are organized in files with one file per part (e.g. FAR 61,
FAR 91, etc.). This makes it easy to retrieve larger amounts of the
FAR's at once. These files are available in ASCII form, in ZIPped
form and in Unix compressed form (FAR parts 1, 11, 13, 14, 15, 23, 25,

- This link provides a text version of the AIM. It seems to be very
up-to-date. There is also a version in
compressed format for the PC (307k). This site has the AIM as one
big text file.

- These two links provide access to search forms for documents at
the Governement Printing Office server. They include Airworthiness
Directives, NPRM's, etc, but they are somwehat difficult to find.
Start with the Federal Register database.

Certified Pilots Database
- This database has about 600,000 pilots that can be searched
according to several criteria.
The database is current as of 1 December 1995.

Aviation Medical Examiners Database
- This database has about 6,000 medical examiners that can be searched
according to several criteria. You can even specify whether the
examiner has to be a pilot and at what level.
