Welcome to this web site about David Griffitts' 1980 ZZ4 Corvette.
Since this vette is over 30 years old, there is always something to work on. Since taking possession of Dave's vette, I decided I would try to do as much work on it as possible with basic tools. The purpose of this web site is to provide documentation on some of the issues that I have encountered and how I fixed them, and what modifications and upgrades I did to the vette. One thing I discovered very quickly while working on the vette is that when you work on your own car you can be sure that the job was done right, and you have the feeling of accomplishment.
After working on the Corvette for a short time it did not take long to find issues that were caused by careless work that was done in the past. This was a major motivator in deciding to try and do much of the work myself.
Thanks to all the great Corvette Forums, and articles online and all of you in the Corvette community that are willing to share your experience I was able to do these projects myself and save tons of money.

California Stingrays 2nd North Meets South Annual Cruise/Get Together - Solvang 04/28/2012
