| Changing
your CalWeb Phone Number
In order to change
your phone number, please follow the instructions for your
particular operating system. If you do not know which
operating system you are using, right click on My
Computer and select Properties. If you are using
a Macintosh, while in Finder, click on the Apple and
select About This Computer.

| IMPORTANT!
Please verify that the number you are using is a local
access number and is entered correctly in your computer).
(This can be done by checking with the operator or a recent
copy of the white pages). While we will suggest the best
possible possible access number, CalWeb Internet Services is
not responsible for any toll or phone charges
incurred while using our service. |

XP |
| Because of the
various ways that the Windows XP can be configured, not all
steps will be needed.
1. Click on Start,
then Settings (if necessary), then Control Panel.
2. If you see Network and Internet Options,
double-click on that icon.
3. Double-click on Network Connections.
4. Right click on the icon for your connection to CalWeb and
select Properties.
5. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
6. Click OK, then close out all windows.

1. Click on Start,
then Settings, then Network and Dial-Up
Connections.
2. Right-click on the icon for your connection to CalWeb and
select Properties.
3. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
4. Click OK, then close out all windows. |

1. Double-click on My
Computer.
2. Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
3. Right-click on the icon for your connection to CalWeb and
select Properties.
4. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
5. Click OK, then close out all windows. |

1. Right-click on My
Network Places on the desktop and select Properties.
2. Right-click on the icon for your connection to CalWeb and
select Properties.
3. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
4. Click OK, then close out all windows. |

1. Double-click on My
Computer.
2. Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
3. Click the button labeled More and choose Edit
entry and modem properties from the list.
4. Click on the Basic tab.
5. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
6. Click OK, then close out all windows. |

OS 8 and 9 |
1. Click on Apple,
then Control Panel, then Remote Access. (This
may also be called PPP.)
2. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
exactly as it has to be dialed.
3. Close the Remote Access window. You will be prompted if
you want to save the changes. Click Yes. |

1. Click on Apple
and select System Preferences.
2. Click on the Network icon.
3. Click on the PPP tab.
4. Erase the old phone number and type in the new phone
number.
5. Click on Apply Now to save the changes.
6. Close the window.
